Where is there a Dealer?

If you are looking to purchase a Colt firearm, you can do so with a local dealer. You can look at Colt's commercial distributor list to find the dealer nearest you. Colt does not sell their products directly, but only through distributors and through federal firearms licensed dealers. Colt Manufacturing Company LLC has licensed distributors in many countries around the world.

Buying an M16

M16s and full automatic rifles manufactured by Colt are only sold to the Military or Law Enforcement agencies. They are not sold to the general public. However, there are many other models that give a similar look, if you are interested in the look of the M16 rifle. One example is the MT Sporters.

Language Manuals

Colt Manufacturing has manuals in only English and German at this time. If you are in need of a manual, you can call the International Department to discuss this with them and to receive your requested materials.

Repairing A Colt Firearm

If you need to return your Colt firearm for repairs, you can do so easily. You simply need to ship it, by way of the United Parcel Service to: CMC, Attention: Product Service, 2 Talcott Rd., West Hartford, CT 06110. Make sure to check both local and state regulations before mailing your firearm. In addition, make sure to send it insured!

The Lifetime Service Agreement

Colt has an amazing repairs agreement that allows you to have any factory defective parts repaired free of charge. Cosmetic corrections and grip replacements can only be made during the first year. This benefit only applies to the original owner for firearms made after 1996, and it is only good for firearms that haven't been altered, abused or purposefully damaged.
